Olde Mecklenburg Brewery is Up & Serving Brew!
Exciting news from the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery: their second brewhouse in Ballantyne is now up and pouring! Located at 5025 Bowl St., this new taproom will be the largest brewery in south Charlotte, featuring 14,000 square feet of indoor space, a 7,000-square-foot patio, and a second-level mezzanine balcony and patio for private events. Our team played a crucial role in setting up this impressive facility, ensuring all systems were installed to perfection. Cheers to this milestone, and we look forward to seeing the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery continue to thrive!
Raleigh Construction
What a busy few months it has been here in the Raleigh office! Our project team is currently managing 71 active projects, each varying in size and scope. It has truly been a blessing and a busy summer. We extend our heartfelt thanks to both our Field Crews and Office Team for their unwavering efforts. Here are some notable projects our teams are working on:

Wells Fargo Renovation in Roanoke, Virginia (Check out pics below!)
We've embarked on a significant two-year renovation project for Wells Fargo in Roanoke, Virginia. Our dedicated team, stationed full-time in Virginia, is transforming an existing building, including several equipment changeouts. Partnering with Barringer Construction, this is one of the largest mechanical projects our office has been awarded to date. A huge thanks to Dane, Brian, and everyone involved in this major project.

Spark Axis and Fitness Buildings in RTP
Progress continues at the Spark Life Science campus in RTP, where MCI is wrapping up above-ceiling work for a new 20,000 sq ft amenities building and a new fitness center. With an expected completion in August, we owe a big thank you to Miguel and his crew for their hard work.

MTX One First-Generation Upfits
Following the completion of MTX One earlier this year, we are now working on two large first-generation upfit projects in the building. One is for GFL, occupying floors 9, 10, and 11, and the other is for Summitt Engineering, which will take up the entire 8th floor. Many thanks to Rolando and the crews working diligently on these projects.

Duke Health Projects
We are also managing several projects for Duke Health, including the Duke Coley Hall MRI replacement, Duke Home Infusion Pharmacy, and Duke Area Hospital CT replacement.

STAHL Labs in Apex
Our collaboration with Bobbitt Construction on the STAHL Labs project marks our first venture with them. This 36,000 sq. ft. lab buildout in Apex features custom lab exhaust systems. Kudos to Rodolfo and his crews for their exceptional work.

Food and Restaurant Scene in Raleigh
In Raleigh’s vibrant food and restaurant scene, we have commenced construction on True Foods Kitchen in North Hills and recently completed the renovation of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, also in North Hills. Thank you, Javier and Adam, for your dedication and hard work.

Upcoming Projects
We have several exciting projects on the horizon. The ACHC addition, a 4-story office building with an atrium and full smoke evacuation system, is expected to start this fall with Clancy and Theys. The PwC project, a 21,000 sq ft full-floor upfit in the North Hills TU building, is slated to begin later this month. Additionally, later this year, we will commence work on the Duke Energy Holly Springs Operations Center and the Cedar Street Parking Deck Project.
